Quantum film Introduction

Quantum Dot Film has a sandwich structure with quantum dots encapsulated within two PET films. It can be used with blue LED with high brightness , high stability, long life and low invalid edge (<1mm). The thickness of quantum dots layer is 100 micron. The thickness of the whole film is 350 micron.

The quantum-dot enhancement film (QDEF) is designed to replace the diffuser in an LCD backlight unit (BLU) and is placed between the BLU and the LCM. The QDEF contains red-and green-emitting quantum dots that are tuned to each display system and is illuminated by blue LEDs in the BLU. In the above image, a sheet of QDEF (left) can be seen converting some of the blue light emitted by a BLU (right) into white
